Hi everybody,
Our latest_post left some confusion within our community, we’ll try to break it down so everybody can understand.

Rise of Society - Early Testing
We’re starting Closed Alpha Testing around 15th of November. It should last approximately two weeks.
In the duration of Early Testing, only Founders will be able to test it and provide feedback. We’ll have the Founder's pack available until we start Open Alpha.
Once Closed Alpha Testing is over, we’ll have Open Alpha Testing, where anybody can join, we’ll do this to ensure everything can deal with heavy loads of players.
We’re aiming to release Open Alpha in the first days of December.

We'll start to update Rise of Society changelog the same day we start closed testing.

Rise of Society - FAQ
Q: Is RoS like Civilization?
A: Sort of. But not really. RoS is a browser game (2D), its alike civilization in the way that you can start your own settlement and recruit your own army. Technology and discovery mechanics are alike. To say RoS is alike Civilization is true, is the same saying RoS is alike Minecraft where you have to gather and construct your own items/buildings.

Q: How will RoS military module be?
A: We still don’t know exactly, we’re collecting feedback from our Founders. We’ll have more news soon.

We’ll be setting up our server pretty soon, which means Wiki and a good FAQ will be online in a couple days.

Any other question you have, you can join our Discord_Server and asks us directly.

What happened to vPopulus?
vPopulus had a huge decrease of players and we had to shut down the server. After we finish RoS we’ll go back to vPopulus and change some concepts. Essentially, we’ll only change things to increase balance and fairness of the game.
vPopulus will, as always, remain F2P, community friendly and not P2W. Limits of purchases per month will stay the same.
Once we have everything settled down we’ll make the changes we’ll be doing public so everyone can comment on them.

See you guys soon,
Love,
vPopulus Studio
