Insight into RoS

Hello everyone,

As we have said in the previous article we have been spending lots of time making sure the back-end are fully operational before the actual game release but this is far from over. We have developed our own wiki, blog and moderation panel but there are still many features such as forum, I18N and API to be started. Today I would like to light some of the chances we made that will make Rise of Society different from vPopulus. We hope you will like them.

Personal support system
It is essentially an improvement to current support system, it allows system to distribute the tickets according to workload of each moderator. This way we can make sure that issues can be solved as fast as possible. Each player will have a personal advisor. If a moderator will be your personal adviser he will get email notifications whenever you post a ticket or reply from you to it, you will also get emails if he or other moderator will respond or ticket status will change.

Donation to feature
At the current stage of the game development we don’t have plan to implement Gold selling functionality (at least until Beta), this is why we have implemented donate feature, this way people can decide which features they think should be implemented first in the line by donating to it. It will help us keep the server running and you will be happy because you get what you paid for. :)

vPopulus Studio
If you have played vPopulus you probably seen this name before… Essentially this is our company name :D. We have made use of it and added combine blog of vPopulus and Rise of Society, along changelog and our team description (like anyone cares), but that's not all. We have decided to create cross-game account database which will make it easier to play both games, or at least register at given moment but we can add more stuff to it later.

vPopulus Studio - What does it mean for us?
Let's say you want to play vPopulus and you don’t have RoS, when you create vPopulus account, automatically account on vPopulus Studio is created for you, all you have to do is confirm the email and it's all set, you can play vPopulus. In 2 weeks time you decide to try our RoS, all you do is register on RoS website with email and password you stated in vPopulus and done, you can play right away, no activation required! (because your vPopulus studio account is activated). :) Unactivated accounts will be removed after 7 days.

vPopulus Studio - More functionality
Having account of vPopulus studio means you can post a comments under the blog posts, you can see all the transactions/donations from both games, change the passwords of accounts or ever reset them and this is only beginning.
